Perfect location - super close to the beach, and the bus will drop you 1 block away. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is super friendly and helpful. An air conditioner would have been extremely helpful, since the weather was quite warm. Other than that, it was super nice

The spot is right where you want to be and the shower water was pleasantly warm, but getting to Hopkins can be a bit of a hassle.

The vibe inside is pleasant and the leisure area is solid, though the nearby beach was swamped with sargassum—a problem unrelated to the hotel itself.

We loved the location—right on the beach with several outdoor hang‑out spots that looked great and were full of tiny geckos. The staff were friendly, the kitchen stocked enough dishes to actually cook, and there was a handy hand‑wash laundry line that made it work for families. The only hiccup was that two fans for three beds felt cramped until we got a third, and the nightly sargassum odor was pretty strong, reminding you that beach proximity can be a double‑edged sword.

The common area felt welcoming and the owner was eager to help, but our room was a different story—mold on the walls, barely any airflow thanks to tiny windows, and the open‑air bathroom with no gender separation felt pretty rundown, especially with the scorching heat outside.
