Shanghai Qiyu Hotel, The Bund Yuyuan Branch

We had a fantastic stay! Everything worked out smoothly from the beginning. When we checked in we ran into a payment issue, but the team was incredibly understanding, let us stay that night, and sorted it out the next morning while offering help with everything we needed. A special shout‑out to Xiao Yi for her kindness and professionalism. We loved it and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

“Nice stay in shag hai”

The spot is perfect, right next to Yu Garden, and the new facilities are great. The bed was comfortable and the staff were super nice! On the top floor there’s a lovely terrace with a view and a garden. However, some rooms listed as “garden view” actually have no windows at all, which was a big let‑down because a window is a top priority for us. Luckily the staff moved us to a windowed room at no extra cost.

The ability to spend time outdoors. The garden on the 5th floor. Unfortunately, there was no window in the room. Unusual.

Location, the staff—though not speaking English—are courteous and go out of their way to satisfy the customer with technology.

“Zeer plezierig, voor herhaling vatbaar.”

A very nice hotel with ultra‑modern, spotless rooms equipped with all sorts of high‑tech gadgets like automatic curtains, bedside lighting, and a smart toilet with remote control. The interior is lovely, and even the hallway décor is impressive. The manager and staff are friendly, and the translation app on the phone makes communication easy. Every time you enter the lobby you’re handed free water bottles. The location is great, right next to Yuyuan Garden and the Bazaar. The Yuyuan Garden metro stop is close, so you can quickly reach Nanjing East Road and The Bund. The street is fun with many affordable eateries and, of course, the very photogenic Bazaar.
