Everything was great: the room was huge, the bathroom comfortable, and the room was quiet. It’s just a stone’s throw from the San Giovanni metro stop (and the amazing Basilica), in a nice, calm, and well‑served area. Nothing to complain about, just wish they’d include breakfast – even in some local bars.

Getting there by public transport was easy. The bed felt a bit worn.

The air‑con was quiet and didn’t lock into a single temperature like many European hotels these days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, right next to a main metro line. The TV wasn’t a smart TV. The shower wasn’t very good; if you’re over 6 ft it’s not very pleasant.

The location is good, just around the corner there’s a café where you can grab a light breakfast. The metro station is about 100 m away. We bought a weekday ticket that lets you use the metro and all city buses. We booked two rooms for four people (Room 1 and 2). Room 1 was fine except the safe in the wardrobe couldn’t be used because the key was apparently taken by the previous tenants. In Room 2 there was mold in the bathroom and nasty smells coming from the sink.
