Located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland, Hotel Mezní Louka, founded in 1892 by Prince Edmund von Clary-Aldringen, offers cozy rooms and traditional Czech cuisine. The hotel features fully en-suite rooms, free WiFi, and a restaurant with a large beer garden. It's an ideal base for hiking, biking, and boat rides in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, near the Pravcicka brana sandstone bridge and scenic Kamenice river gorges.

The staff were all super friendly, and the old building was nicely updated. For dinner we tried Sauerbraten and Gulasch, both were just okay, but the starter of potato chips with bacon mayo was very tasty.

The place is a great base for nearby trails, with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and spotless, and the restaurant is a big plus because after a hike you can have a filling meal at a reasonable price.

Comfort and location were excellent, and there were no negatives.

Breakfast was delicious, and the only note for tourists is that in Hrensko you cannot pay by card at restaurants.

If you prefer quiet, this secluded spot is ideal, and the bus stop is right outside the house. The accommodation is very old; with a bit of effort it could be improved, but it feels more like a hostel than a hotel.
