Downtown Sirkeci Hotel

I stayed in a lively area full of restaurants, and the metro and tram stations were close by, making it easy to get around. The only downside was that the entrance was confusing; even though I was nearby, it took a while to find it. The walls were thin, so I could hear noises from the neighboring rooms and the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel is forced into a corner; the view is not nice, only looking at crumbling roofs and buildings.

This hotel is very central, right next to the tram and metro. It was spotless and the staff were extremely polite!

The breakfast was plentiful but very “continental” and traditional Turkish, without a real cappuccino or croissants. The staff were extremely friendly. Water bottles were available on demand. Tickets for paid attractions could be purchased at the counter. One of the two rooms we booked was especially noisy from a nearby engine (air‑conditioner or generator?) at the Hilton, but the kind staff swapped it for us right away.

“Good stay, very satisfied with the service”

We were delighted with our room, the helpful staff, and the excellent breakfast that the whole family enjoyed. The location was very good, right in the city center near many attractions. The only issue was some noticeable machine noise at night, probably from an outdoor generator or ventilation system. We’re not sure if this is a common problem or just in our room, but fixing it would make the stay flawless. Still, I highly recommend this hotel in Istanbul!
