The apartment was spacious, full of light and sunshine, and well situated. The key must be requested by phone; I suggest sending the code on arrival so you’re flexible with timing and don’t have to rush in the assumption you’ll be personally expected. Also, I recommend locking the second apartment door that leads to the upper unit’s entrance. From that entrance the tenant of the upper unit can enter this (my) apartment at any time, which wasn’t very reassuring for me.
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was gorgeous and spotless – big kudos for that.

The area is beautiful and quiet, with a shop and restaurant nearby. The view was amazing and there are plenty of hiking options. The only drawback was the lack of natural light inside the accommodation.
The spot is killer – right in the middle of everything. The only hiccup was that you can’t pay the city tax without cash, and if you try to settle it through the booking site you’ll get a €6 fee for a €20 ATM withdrawal.
