“It was ok.”
The staff were decent, but in the evening the reception is unmanned; they focus on the restaurant and only come out to help. The room was a good size with an ensuite. Breakfast was very good. Morston Hall is a fancy restaurant with a small hotel attached; the pool and other amenities belong to a neighboring hotel and guests have limited access that requires arrangement—if you go, it’s best to check in early and book a pool slot in the afternoon. Morning access is only by special arrangement and costs extra £££. I’m sure the fine‑dining experience is a treat, but we didn’t get it (you have to book in advance). Who would pay £145 for dinner anyway?
