The location works well as a base for visiting Paris, and the neighborhood is lively, but street noise can get pretty loud late at night, so earplugs are definitely a useful luxury—and luckily I had them on hand. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room is simple but has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The place is perfectly located for visiting a family member who lives close to Gare de l'Est, it’s clean, tidy, and quieter than expected, and there’s nothing negative to report.
