The beach was beautiful and the staff were very friendly; the rooms were spacious, the onsens were clean and delightful, and it was excellent value for money, though the rooms were a bit humid and late check‑out wasn’t available.

The beach was nice and the room was relatively clean. 1. We booked and paid in advance for 2 adults and 3 children, yet the hotel charged an extra 2000 Yen per child for bedding—this is outrageous since we had already paid for 2 adults and 3 children. We refused to pay and had to squeeze the kids into small beds, indicating an internal error between the hotel and Booking. 2. We arrived before check‑in time and the hotel was empty—only up to 3 rooms were booked, so the room was clean and ready, but we couldn’t check in early (only for a fee). The hotel was totally inflexible and unaccommodating; other hotels are much friendlier. 3. The hotel is pretty old. 4. The pool looked really bad.
