We had the most wonderful time with Ian and Robert. Lots of laughs and a lovely breakfast overlooking Port Phillip Bay. It felt like a home away from home with plenty of spaces to relax. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon at the cinema with popcorn. The spa looked inviting, but I couldn’t use it because of a wound on my leg – next time. A lovely walk along the beachfront just outside the front door. The restaurants Robert and Ian recommended were great. We could have stayed longer. It’s very close to a small shopping precinct that had a fantastic fish and chip shop, plus a health‑food café with all local ingredients. It’s within easy reach of Queenscliffe and Portarlington. Nothing to criticize.

The view was amazing, and being greeted at the door by their dog Mickey was an extra bonus. I stayed 5 nights, and by the time I left it felt more like saying goodbye to good friends than to a BnB. The place is lavish, and Rob and Ian are brilliant hosts; when something went wrong (I left my phone in a car) they had “all hands on deck” to return it. Breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the spa and sauna were the perfect way to end it. Losing my phone for the night was a mishap, but I can’t blame anyone else.

The hosts were wonderful, and it was so peaceful and quiet. The only downside was that on the beach the wind never let up.

Rob and Ian were outstanding hosts, and the place felt like a sweet spot between a hotel and an Airbnb. I’d definitely recommend it.
