We love this hotel; it’s in a perfect location and the staff are nice. Unfortunately, we had a mishap at the restaurant that serves breakfast. Everything was fine until our last day when a staff member accused us of not giving him the money we asked him to split into smaller bills. It was a free breakfast for us, but I asked him to split a 200‑peso bill into smaller bills so I could use it for tipping. He asked me to meet him after we returned to the hotel and demanded 200 pesos that he claimed I hadn’t given him. I definitely gave it to him and he received it. Those bills were supposed to be tips for housekeeping. The restaurant manager didn’t seem interested in helping us. After waiting more than 30 minutes, we just went home without the money he took from us. If they have CCTV, they could have solved the problem easily. So just be careful handling money when you stay there. It was supposed to be a free breakfast, but he took more than that. (I tipped him after we ate but still asked for extra money 😅)

The staff were attentive and the location was great. The room was spacious and we had a nice view. Overall it met expectations, but the bed didn’t feel clean – there was a dead cockroach.
