Canella Beach Hotel

It’s cool, simple but well kept. The rooms have a kitchenette on the balcony. The frogs! There are frogs making a huge racket all night. When I say racket, I mean a symphony of croaking frogs. They stop at dawn when the rooster starts singing. That’s not the hotel’s fault; it’s everywhere in Guadeloupe. Basically, reserve only if you love frogs or nature.

L'accueil du personnel et l'emplacement. ce sont les 2 points positifs, et malheureusement ce sont les 2 seuls points que je retiens de mon court séjour. Plusieurs pannes: serrure, tous les jours. ensuite à mon arrivée, coupure d'électricité, coupure d'eau. le wifi est non fonctionnel, et la qualité du petit déjeuner est assez médiocre. Les meubles sont vieillissants, les chambres assez sales. Porte de la douche ne se fermait pas complètement

The Balneo in the pool, the overall size of the duplex, the kitchenette, and the dryer on the balcony were highlights. The décor feels outdated, especially the paintings, and there are no reflective or lighting elements on the duplex staircase at night.

The location was good, but the power went out, the water stopped, and the restaurant shut down in the evening. Cleanliness was disappointing, the nice pool was ruined by people throwing bombs into it, and we asked for two separate beds but didn’t get them. The breakfast was mediocre for the price, lacking high quality, and there was an unpleasant outside smell.
