Belas Vistas Hotel

The hotel pretends to be charming but is actually mid‑range: no blackout curtains (you’ll be woken by dawn), no elevator, unfinished paintwork in the room, and at night the door lets light into the hallway—so the value for money is poor, especially for the region and in November. The staff speak only Portuguese, not English or French, which is disheartening.

“Estadia única num lugar super tranquilo.”

We stayed in a lake‑view room with a balcony and enjoyed truly relaxing moments. The hotel’s surroundings were pure nature, complete with sheep and cows roaming—beautiful! The staff were very attentive and available. Breakfast was excellent, served in a room that really had “Beautiful Views.” There’s a charger for electric cars. Nothing to criticize.

“The best I stayed in 7 different hotels”

I just wish I’d had more time to stay more than one night here. The location is stunning, the staff excellent, and the rooms well appointed.

“Excelente alojamento, muita paz”

The atmosphere was super pleasant, the view gorgeous, and there was a lot of peace; everything was well organized and in perfect condition. The staff were very kind and attentive. The restaurant staff were outstanding—Ana and the kitchen girl were perfect, and the food was very good and high quality. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend it and will return.

“Linda vista”

Very clean, welcoming, comfortable, and with a breathtaking landscape—unmissable. In the morning, there was an issue with nearby construction that caused the hotel’s water supply to be cut off. Using only the hotel’s reserve water, the temperature was extremely hot, making it impossible to shower or brush teeth.
