It was fine, but nothing more. The warmth we’re used to in Sri Lanka wasn’t noticeable here. Rooms weren’t ready or clean. We had travelled all night and arrived at half‑seven, having paid for express the previous night to be able to sleep immediately. Although they said check‑in was possible at that time, they didn’t count us at all. The atmosphere was unpleasant.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others. Our stay at this resort was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The staff were extremely unhelpful and at times outright rude. Any issues we raised were either ignored or brushed off, and it honestly felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there. The facilities were not as advertised, the service was slow or non‑existent, and overall, it was a frustrating and stressful experience. This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, but instead we wasted our time, energy, and a significant amount of money on a place that doesn’t care about its guests. Save yourself the trouble – there are far better places out there. Definitely not recommended.
