There aren’t many hotels around, but overall the facilities are good 😌 breakfast is delicious, the double beds are larger than expected (staircase design); older guests might prefer the first floor, though lighting is poorer. The sliding door to the bathroom is very hard to open, so a bit of lubricant would help 😭.

The food was very tasty and the dishes were lovely. The front desk staff were very helpful, but some part‑time workers seemed unsure of what they were doing, which was disappointing from a guest’s perspective.

“Le dîner vaut le détour !”

The place is very unique, located on a wide street lined with pottery and porcelain shops, and in the middle stands a modern hotel with an industrial‑style room that’s comfortable and quiet, though it might not age well. The dinner is a surprise—absolutely fabulous, not what you’d expect, worthy of a Michelin star. The room price feels a bit high compared to what’s typical in Japan.

“Beautiful and peaceful place with lovely staff”

The hotel, located in a ceramic shop square, was ideal for our long weekend exploring Arita; the room was simple but had everything we needed, and each morning began with a tasty breakfast, with staff doing everything to keep us comfortable. Communication in English could be a bit tricky at times, but Google Translate always saved the day :)
