Hotel Unicornio Azul, a 1910 wooden landmark on Avenida Pedro Montt, fronts Castro’s Fiordo. Steps from the historic center, Plaza de Armas, San Francisco Church, and the ferry terminal, it offers 6 balcony rooms, garden views, central heating, Wi‑Fi, and a third‑floor lounge. Guests enjoy a continental buffet, parking, and nearby Lillo Craft Fair, farmer’s market, and daily bay tours.

The hotel was old and charming, but it was noisy.

The hotel was beautiful, right on the sea, with a comfortable, heated room, a TV and a private bathroom. The staff were very friendly, they included toiletries and towels, and when I needed a hair dryer they supplied one right away. The breakfast was hearty and tasty. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with typical local decor, just steps from Castro's center, a mall and transport, facing the sea, a restaurant, etc. They also let me store my luggage after check‑out. I would stay there again :) 10/10 thanks! :)

A very good experience in Castro. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and cozy, perfect for resting after exploring the area. The staff were very friendly throughout the stay and we felt very at ease. Undoubtedly, it’s a place I would recommend and return to.

The room itself was spotless, which was the only thing that stood out. Unfortunately the whole building feels ancient and the price was far too high for such a dated, ugly place. I left wishing they'd at least freshen it up.
