I booked through a form, they confirmed the reservation, but when I arrived the room had already been given to someone else; they told me to cancel because there were no rooms left.

I didn’t enjoy staying at the hotel because the Google location was completely inaccurate and the manager was rude. I had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived at the address shown on Google Maps, the hotel wasn’t there. I called the hotel—unlike Google Maps, it had a phone number. The person who answered said someone would call back; five minutes later I received a call, explained the situation, and the caller hung up—literally. I called back the original number, and the gentleman said the manager would call. When I finally got a call, I explained again that I’d come to the Google Maps address. The manager replied, “oh, the hotel is by the bus stand.” I told him I had heavy luggage and the map shows their location down in the valley, so it would be very difficult for me to walk uphill. I asked if a car or some vehicle could be arranged to bring me to the hotel. The manager said, “I’ll call you back” and disconnected. No call. Fifteen minutes later I dialed several times, but nobody answered. A one‑liner text came, “Hotel Mahima near Sangla bus stand”—still no response to my question. I replied to the text—no delivery. I tried calling again—no response. Eventually, after walking back up the hill, I found another hotel. I will not pay money to a place that treats customers so poorly.

“Phenomenal ⭐”

We stayed here in May 2026. The staff were very cooperative and instantly made us feel at home. The geyser worked properly. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. The food was Bengali style and reminded us of home. I would definitely recommend the food if you’re Bengali. Overall, a very peaceful stay.
