The views were beautiful, the place was quiet, and the amenities and beds were comfortable. The pool area could use some maintenance: a lounge chair was broken, the pool was a bit green, and there was no umbrella even though the stand was present.

The setting is peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the busy everyday routine, and the views are breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. We were extremely disappointed with the service at Windfall Wine Farm: when we arrived, our booking was wrong, and instead of the deluxe double room we’d paid for, we were put in a much smaller one‑bedroom cottage. Worse, the host, Nicoll, came across as arrogant and rude when we tried to fix the issue, and there was no attempt to resolve the mistake, offer a refund, or even check if we were comfortable with the alternative. Paying for a higher‑end room but getting a significantly lower standard of accommodation without any compensation or concern for guest satisfaction is unacceptable, and this left us feeling undervalued and frustrated.
