We were in Blackpool for Rebellion and wanted a hotel near the Winter Gardens, so Adelaide House was spot on – it’s right next to the Winter Gardens, spotlessly clean, and all the staff were friendly and very competent; we loved it so much we’ve already booked to return next year. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit cramped, but since we only used the hotel to sleep, shower, and have breakfast it didn’t bother us much; we’ll request a room with more space next time.

I booked this last minute after my motorhome was stolen while I was attending Rebellion Festival, and I couldn’t have been closer; I stayed in a single room that was small but clean, functional, and the price was totally reasonable given the events that weekend. Breakfast was decent with fruit juices, cereals, and a choice of cooked items, all served with a smile from a lovely lady. It isn’t the Ritz, but with expectations managed and the price it’s excellent; cleanliness and friendliness make a big difference. The room and bathroom were quite small, but that’s just an observation, not a dislike.
