The Stroudsmoor was an absolutely gorgeous place. The cottage (40) we stayed in felt like a B&B – clean, quaint, and the bed was very comfortable. Two weddings were happening, so the place was crowded but still very quiet. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Check‑in was quick and easy, and the seafood dinner buffet was delicious. The motels in the area were more expensive, so I was a little unsure when making my reservation, but the 8.2 stars made me go with my gut. I would definitely stay here again if I were back in the area. The Stroudsmoor makes me want to have a reason to go back. Fall at the Stroudsmoor is just magical. I definitely recommend the place, especially in the fall. Nothing to add.

The downstairs lounge was nice with good food, but everything else was lacking.

Breakfast was a good idea, but the lighting was poor.

Breakfast was okay and typical, but I wanted real eggs or an omelette instead of powdered eggs, and I’d prefer bacon and sausage.
