We appreciated Don Isaías’s attentive service and his helpful recommendations, and the volcano views were fantastic. The access to the property was a bit rough; I was lucky to arrive in a 4x4, but the climb to the finca could be improved, and it should be clarified that the bathroom is shared. The accommodation feels very rural, but fixing two small issues would make it excellent.

The people are very kind, but the path is rough and there is only one toilet and sanitation service for all cabins.

The owner’s welcome was very warm, the place is breathtaking in front of the Arenal, the cabins are great and everything is authentic—love the authenticity! Breakfast was a real treat. Thank you so much. There is no hot water, but that’s part of the authenticity.

Very nice people and a wonderful view of the volcano, but you need a 4x4 all‑wheel drive.
