Mansewood Country House

“A delightful and relaxed place to stay.”

From the instant James started preparing for us and Emily opened the front door with a warm smile, we felt right at home. Mansewood is a spacious, elegant house with a large sitting room and a hidden cozy bar offering a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was beautifully presented and served, and the host and hostess went out of their way to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The location was ideal for its accessibility and seclusion on its own grounds, though it was a bit far from the limited facilities in Lochearnhead.

Breakfast and dinner, including the wines, were superb. James is an outstanding cook. Nothing at all was lacking.

The hosts were very friendly and considerate, and the house felt very authentic overall. There was a cute little bar and a fireplace in the living room with comfortable sofas. Everything was very relaxed. The breakfast selection was great.
