“Very nice hotel in the center of Racine”

The rooms and lobby are nice, the rooftop bar is cool, and it’s close to whatever “action” you might find in Racine. Free parking outside (uncovered) is a welcome change from the $50 valet elsewhere in Wisconsin. Great if you’re there for a reason. The sauna is large but on a timer—you have to start it about an hour ahead to get it hot, which I didn’t have time for. It needs a deep grout clean. Otherwise it’s very nice.

“Fantastic hotel - a true treat”

Hotel Verdant was fantastic. I arrived late and the staff were so helpful, arranging food from the restaurant even though it was about to close. The room was amazing—clean, hip, and beautifully designed. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable, the lighting was great, and there were plenty of charging options. The shower had luxury fixtures and the toiletries were wonderful. My only gripe was the coffee in the room—it felt like a coffee‑tea bag situation and wasn’t very good.

“In general, it was barely clean in decent, but having to search for an iron at the last minute”

There was no iron, the restaurant food was limited and I’d like more American options, and the prices were high—five dollars for a Coke.
