The pousada offered great value, the rooms were clean, beds, linens, and towels were fresh, the shower worked, and the air‑conditioning was reliable. I found the neighborhood quite dark at night with many homeless people on the sidewalks, and the parking was a bit far from the pousada, which made us feel a little unsafe when returning from the sanctuary; on the second night we chose to leave earlier and stay in, ordering delivery instead of going out.

Breakfast wasn’t included, but I didn’t notice it when I booked. The setting was quiet and peaceful. When I arrived there was no one at the pousada; I waited almost 40 minutes in the sunny courtyard for someone to come. A gentleman finally handed me the keys and left. I couldn’t use the Wi‑Fi because I didn’t get any instructions. On departure two staff members hurried and talked to each other, only taking the keys and saying goodbye. A day before checkout, a lady lingered at the front desk for a long time, feeling unwell while trying to use the phone on the display but got no response. The TV offered only two channels.

The room was excellent for the price. I woke up at 5 am to noise from other guests who wouldn’t stop talking right in front of my room. A child was crying and a woman was shouting. At 6 am they started cleaning the corridor and I couldn’t sleep anymore. It was supposed to be a rest period, but it was frustrating how little consideration and respect the people who made noise from 5 am had.
