“As a whole it was a very restful stay.”

The pool was lovely with plenty of beds and chairs, though a touch cold, but the spa was great. Breakfast was generally okay but a bit repetitive; the scrambled eggs were good. The maid entered our room at 0800 with her key even though we had locked the door, and she did it again later. Bread that was supposedly being cooked arrived very cold, the toaster was broken, and the hot‑drink/coffee machine was also out of order. The dining staff seemed uninterested in fixing these issues.

The proximity to the train station was convenient, and breakfast was good. The room faced the street, so it was very noisy. Parking at the hotel cost €12 per day, while free parking was about 300 m away.

It was close to the city, well‑located. You can find free parking a bit farther away without using the hotel’s paid lot or the city’s paid streets. The staff were friendly and spoke French. The room we stayed in smelled of wet dog (mattress and sheets), and we also heard the electrical panel. We switched to another room that smelled of paint. Unfortunately, the shower plumbing was old and the sound insulation was average. The double bed had two single beds next to it, which was a shame. To use the spa you had to pay for robes and slippers without prior notice, even though it was mentioned for the bath cap. Some lounge chairs were broken. The small pool was too cold to enter, and the jacuzzi was also unusable.
