The staff were very friendly. They lifted our suitcases to the first floor because there was no lift. There was no lift, steep stairs, taxis not allowed near the hotel, so we had to wheel our suitcases up. It’s not wheelchair friendly.

Staying there was fine. The shower room leaked. The room’s window wouldn’t close, letting mosquitoes in. Bugs were found in the breakfast.

Great location, right in the city center among very characteristic alleys. Excellent service. The AC worked. Breakfast was good. Free luggage storage was very appreciated. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work, and the room had little space for a mobile data connection. The room was a bit small for unpacking suitcases.

I liked the rooftop breakfast at the mini‑hotel. The room is very small, the hotel is in an old building in Stone Town. It’s located right in the center of Stone Town, near Fukuzani Park, the Catholic Cathedral, and a maze of unique city streets. The old fort is about 100 m away, but it’s currently under renovation. The room is very small. The window is tiny, almost no light, facing a lane. That’s the ambiance and unique vibe, like in St. Petersburg, in old‑buildings houses, I list the shortcomings because I think the price is too high for this offering.
