The owner spoke very little English, but he explained everything with Google Translate. We probably should have told him the time we’d arrive, but when we rang the bell at the apartment he was there within 5 minutes. The shower was superb and the bathroom was quite large. The photos matched reality, and the view was truly beautiful. Breakfast wasn’t in the apartment but in a local pizzeria, and it was also very good, even with fresh‑pressed orange juice. The price‑to‑value ratio was excellent.

The house was spotless, in a very quiet spot yet still close to the town of Arouca. The owner was super kind and attentive, we dined at his great pizzeria, and breakfast was included—couldn’t ask for more.

Finding the place was easy, the views were amazing, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was nice, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing to add.

I stayed in a brand‑new, pleasant room that had a shared kitchen stocked with everything needed, and every room had a shelf in the fridge. The entrance that requires a walk over a hanging bridge is a quarter‑hour away, while a more convenient entrance is a half‑hour drive. The room was perfect for the night before the trip—very simple and nice. The host doesn’t speak English, but is very friendly and helpful, and we managed with Google Translate. Great value for the price. I would advise booking tables at restaurants in advance; we arrived on a Sunday, everything was full, and we couldn’t find a spot. That’s unrelated to the host or the apartment.
