Nestled in a historic farm building in Linguaglossa, Agriturismo Valle Galfina offers garden and mountain vistas, a pool with panoramic views, and a sun terrace. Air‑conditioned rooms include private baths, free Wi‑Fi, flat‑screen TVs and work desks; family and interconnected options are available. The on‑site restaurant serves Italian, vegetarian, vegan and gluten‑free dishes, with buffet breakfast and romantic dinner settings.

The location is beautiful.

The location and friendly staff were great. The shower cabin was super small, and there were no cups for drinking.

The hosts were extremely accommodating! There were enough parking spaces. The food was wonderful, and they had their own top‑quality wine!

We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms that was truly spacious. The pool is very nice and offers a dreamy view of Etna. Breakfast is very good and plentiful for Italian standards, though it leans sweet. We only ate at the on‑site restaurant on the first day (for lunch), and it was excellent with good value. The staff or owners (when you approached them) were very polite and nice. The location is fairly good for visiting Taormina, the beach, the north side of Etna, and the Alcantara Gorge (all 30–40 minutes away). The room lacked details such as hooks or a place to hang wet swimwear or towels, or a suitably sized trash can. The blinds in one of the two bedrooms were broken and were not repaired when we requested it (we were there for four nights and complained on the second day). Early light made it hard to sleep. The pool loungers were sometimes broken and dirty, and the outdoor shower didn’t work. We would have liked to dine at the restaurant more often or drink the excellent house wine, but we discovered the restaurant is only open Friday to Sunday. In general, there is little to no information on opening times, Wi‑Fi, tours, etc., unless you ask actively. It seems like house guests are not especially welcome. It’s a shame, because the beautiful building could offer so much more. At least there should be the option to use a fridge with drinks while at the pool. There’s nothing to buy all day; no drinks or food; you rarely meet anyone. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes by car. The agriturismo seems very deserted. We were the only guests except for one family who stayed the last two nights. On the first day, three Italian families were there for lunch and then used the pool. We would do that next time instead of staying there. Very disappointing, because the building would be perfect for a nice stay if someone invested a bit more heart.
