The room was beautiful with a balcony, the bed was super comfortable, and the room temperature made for a great night’s sleep; the breakfast delivered to the room was nicely presented and handy for an early start.

Breakfast delivered to the room was pleasant, but since the pub was actually a restaurant, a continental option at the bar might have been better; a previous guest had apparently smoked in the room, and when I reported it the staff seemed indifferent.

I was impressed by the breakfast basket left for us, as no one else was on the property until later that day, so a good selection of food was available in our fridge; as a vegetarian, evening meal choices were limited, though there were plenty for others.
