Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort

A beautiful, well run, friendly and helpful place to stay in Lumbini, along the road to the main attraction, the extraordinary birthplace of the Buddha. We loved our room overlooking a large pond, where we saw animals and birds morning and evening. The staff were very helpful and arranged a car for us to go to Tilaurakot, very recommended. The driver stopped several times when he or we noticed rare storks. The menu and quality of food could have been a little better. OK, but not mind-blowing

“Ruhiges und schönes Hotel am Rande von Lumbini”

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, enjoying its quiet location and beautiful garden. The comfortable chairs in the room and on the balcony were a nice touch, and I appreciated the hot water for showers. The room was well-lit, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I did notice that the bathroom could have benefited from a shower curtain, as the lack of one made the area unnecessarily humid after use. The restaurant was also a highlight, with a large menu to choose from.
