We were turned away from a so‑called pet‑friendly hotel late in the day and needed a bed for the night; this beautiful gîte welcomed us, was helpful, and quickly set us up with a bed. If you arrive at dusk or in the dark, the round gîte sign on the gate can be easy to miss, and a couple of chairs in the room would be handy.

The gîte was perfect, spacious, tastefully decorated, and of very good quality, plus a spa, a very friendly and available host. The electric chair is a treat. Dogs are accepted, and there’s a large field behind for walks with your pup. Nothing to complain about – it’s a magnificent gîte.

Julien, the host, welcomed us warmly and gave us plenty of tips for outings and restaurants. The garden and the spa are wonderful for relaxing in complete privacy. Our windhound was also more than welcome.
