“Cosy, convenient”
A traditional British‑style bed & breakfast where the rooms are actual bedrooms upstairs in the owners’ home, with a shared bathroom between the two B&B rooms. We had to wait a bit one morning when everyone left at the same time, but it was no problem. Warm, cosy and friendly. The hosts were wonderful, the breakfast was nice, and the house is a cute little spot at the top of the hill above Tobermory harbour. Parking was easy on the street outside, and we didn’t need it again until we left two days later. A ten‑minute scenic walk down is fine for someone who is averagely mobile, but it might require a short car ride if not. We didn’t notice the climb back up after enjoying scallops and chips on a harbourfront bench one evening, and the Italian at The Gallery Restaurant in a converted church on the second was tasty. Just take your time and pause to enjoy the view! Bonus was the proximity to the nearby churchyard, where we saw deer hanging out by the gravestones, and a pleasant walk along country lanes to the Glass Barn, with its great café and fascinating cheese and spirits tour. A must‑visit if you’ve watched “Designing the Hebrides,” but worth a visit in its own right. Perfectly placed to explore the rest of Mull.
