The location was great and offered proper privacy; the staff and service were good, with only a slight delay. However, the food quality could be better for the rates charged, the ambience needs improvement, and the room should shift from antique to a modern, comfortable look.

The rooms were clean and roomy, which I liked, and the location was nice too. On the downside, there was no complimentary water bottle and breakfast started after 10 am.

The only positives were the infrastructure and the location close to the beach; the room was spacious but lacked cottage‑style facilities, and the pool worked. The taxi stand was run by a rowdy group; they almost beat up our Goa‑miles cab, and the hotel staff didn’t help with that. Taxi fares were too high. There was no café on campus and no meal support; breakfast coupons were given for a shabby restaurant across the road. God bless the tourists and foreigners who rely on Calangute Residency. I spent three days and three nights there, but it was not worthwhile overall and is avoidable for families.
