The cleanliness, quietness, and location were great. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking.

Laurie gave a very good and warm welcome, and the gîte has a family‑friendly vibe. The bedding is optimal. It’s easy to drive to Pas de Bellecombe‑Jacob and reach the Piton de la Fournaise.

The room is clean and comfortable, but we noticed a lot of dampness. This isn’t a bed‑and‑breakfast or a hotel, but rather a private person renting many rooms in one wing of a house. Parking is on the side of the road. There’s a litter smell at the reception and in the breakfast room.
