BYB Finca Chiribita Idyllisch Herzlich Persönlich

I spent seven days at Finca Chiribita and truly enjoyed every single day. From the start, Ruth and Andreas made me feel at ease, letting me fully indulge in the “Pura Vida” vibe. Waking up to the dreamlike view of the Orosi Valley through the large front windows is something special that sets a wonderfully relaxed and positive tone for the day. I especially want to highlight the excellent, abundant breakfast; homemade bread is simply delicious! Ruth and Andi are always ready to help, whether it’s for trips, good restaurants, or practical tips about Costa Rica – their recommendations are always useful and make the stay even nicer. For me, it’s clear: Finca Chiribita is a place that is too good to spend just one night there. It practically invites you to stay several days, unwind, and truly experience the “Pura Vida.” Thank you, Ruth and Andi, for the wonderful time – I’ll gladly return!

The hosts were very welcoming; Ruth speaks several languages and explained everything in French, which made us feel very comfortable :) The room and the view are superb! Nothing else.

The best place in Costa Rica to wake up! If they had a swimming pool you could stay here for a long time! But it was already perfect.

If you get to spend a few nights in one of the beautiful bungalows at Finca Chiribita, you’re lucky. The setup, the view, the calm – all top‑notch. The hosts go above and beyond, treating you like family. Every little detail is crafted with love and charm. Breakfast lets you try new things, beautifully presented, tasty and healthy. Huge thanks for the fascinating stories about the land and people and the unforgettable stay!

Breakfast was amazing, the peace and immersion in nature were fantastic, and it’s a convenient spot for getting to Cartago and Orosi. But in August it was a bit cold in the room, no heating, shower water barely warm, a little damp, no curtains, and the price felt high.
