“Such a lovely villa to stay”

We had a wonderful experience at Villa Cleto: the room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the owner and his family were friendly and helpful. The location was quiet yet convenient, so I’ll choose it for my next trip to Panjim. The building has no lift, so they helped my luggage up to the 2nd floor.

The room is good, but there is no water heater or fridge for that price, and the locality is a drawback.

Villa Cleto works well if you’re on a budget and want to walk to town and Fontainas in about ten minutes. We stayed in Room 103, which was cozy and had a balcony that fit two chairs. The room was clean, came with a kettle, a few bottles of water upon arrival, good water pressure, a hot shower, air conditioning, a fan, and was cleaned regularly. The family shop on the ground floor stocked essentials, and John runs the pharmacy across the street. There’s a closed terrace upstairs for hanging laundry and a small kitchen. John suggested the veg restaurant Chudupi Annapuri, a five‑minute walk away, and it delivered great local food. He also arranged a cheaper taxi to Candolim than we’d found elsewhere. John and his family were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my stay.
