The countryside surroundings offered peace and idyll, and the host communicated well. The garden furniture was a bit slippery.

The location and breakfast were super, but the rooms could use better living spaces for a bit of coziness and proper reading lighting; there was also no room for clothes.

We were told in advance that the rooms were in a basement and not luxurious, yet they turned out perfectly fine and bright enough; the hostess was very friendly and helpful, sharing a lot about Denmark and Scandinavian history from a native perspective, which was cool; we could use the washing machine and she even turned on the heater so our clothes dried fast, a thoughtful touch; it’s the cheapest B&B in the area but everything is still provided for that price; the place is only 25 minutes away from Odense; the bed pillows were a bit soft, but after one or two nights they become comfortable enough.

We could sit in the garden, but there was no microwave or air fryer.

“Dejligt område men kedeligt værelse.”

It was warm that day, so it was nice to be in a basement, but normally I wouldn't stay overnight in a basement; it could be better, the beds weren't the best, and the place was dull.
