“It was very misleading and I felt like I was on a prank tv show”

Nothing was good; everything was awful. The room had about 15 beer cans left by previous guests, it felt like a motel turned hotel, it was under construction, and the facilities, pool, and breakfast were all terrible.

I appreciated the front‑desk lady letting me use the lobby bathroom to finish getting ready for a wedding that evening; she was very polite. The only downside was the 11 am checkout time.

The location was fine, but the smell made it feel dirty; I avoided using the shower and didn't walk barefoot in the room. We used a black light on the bedding and found stains.

“Won't be booking at that hotel again.”

The location was perfect for our plans, yet the room smelled musty and like smoke even though it was a non‑smoking room. We asked for room spray, which helped a bit. The breakfast staffer was rude; I admit I was late, arriving at 11:30 the night before and just catching the closing time. We grabbed a couple of slices of toast and tried to avoid her heavy sighing, hand on hip, grumbling. Overall, I feel we overpaid for the room. The repairs were cheaply done and half‑assisted. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work in 109—just an FYI. The cleaning lady gave us a new blow dryer because we thought the original didn’t work; I ended up plugging it near the sink and pulling the cord into the bathroom to style my hair.
