The spot is great, the town is tiny and everything is close, and the facilities feel relatively new. The only hiccup was that the hotel gave us the key code ahead of time; it would have helped if that was spelled out more clearly at booking.

I liked how fresh and well‑located the place was, but there was only one pillow per bed and they felt flat; there was no air‑conditioning, and the surrounding noise was loud—though I’m not sure what’s going on on the property.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and bathroom—they were huge, very comfortable, and spacious. The communication was excellent and checking in and out was effortless.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Höfn, so you can stroll to nearby restaurants for dinner. The property was clean and comfy, with plenty of free parking. The shower stayed nice and warm after a day of exploring. The room got warm and we couldn’t find a thermostat; the large street‑facing windows made it hard to open them without letting in noise, and keeping the shades open left the room very bright.
