“Korte 4 daagse stedenvakantie met mooi weer.”
Beautiful rooms, a lovely breakfast area, and a pretty rooftop terrace make the place great. The hotel is centrally located between the city center, beaches, and attractions.

The location is ideal—between a buzzing marina and the old town. The roof terrace has a small pool and a big bar. The rooms are great, and the AC works well. Breakfast is in the basement; it might be nicer if the doors to the patio were open. We really liked this hotel; it’s our second RoomMate after Valencia, and both have been excellent. Don’t let the road next to the location put you off— we were on the first floor next to the road and hardly heard anything. All great, and I don’t say that very often.

The location was ideal, just a short walk to the main shopping street and tourist sites. The rooftop bar was nice, offering great views and a designated area for hotel guests. Most staff were super friendly. The breakfast ran from 7-12, which is great for late risers. We booked the basic room with a double bed option, but upon arrival we were told only twin beds were available, and the double bed was only subject to availability in the fine print. Why give a choice if it’s not guaranteed? As newlywed couples, we didn’t want twin beds. We were offered an upgrade to a double bed for an extra 10 euros/night. In this day and age, it should be reasonable to book knowing exactly what beds are available. I’ve never had this experience before, even though I travel a lot. Additionally, where you can’t accommodate our needs, it’s the hotel’s responsibility to upgrade free of charge, as they did for us in Granada when they couldn’t give us the room we booked. The receptionist was matter‑of‑fact and not sympathetic. Another disappointment was that breakfast was not very halal friendly; the meats were predominantly pork, and the turkey slices were available, but the utensils used to pick them up were shared with ham slices and cheese. The room itself was okay, but there was no space to open your suitcases if there were two of you, though there were wardrobes. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not; we tried three. The shower had no extractor fan, so it got steamy and stuffy quickly. In terms of soundproofing, you could hear people in the hallway and adjacent rooms easily, and the doors slammed loudly because they are heavy.
