The spot’s location is solid and the rooftop view is breathtaking, plus the dorm has single beds instead of bunk beds which really adds comfort. However, there’s no AC in the rooms and the fan feels shady, the toilet and shower doors are worn, the dispenser is empty, and there are odd extra charges everywhere: a 40€ deposit that supposedly refunds weeks later (hasn’t yet), a surcharge for card payments—something unheard of in the area after 8 years here—and steep fees like 8€ for a single load of laundry. There’s no way to prepare snacks or small meals, and when a violent incident happened in one of the rooms, no security was on duty.
