The hotel sits in a lovely, quiet spot off the usual path, yet a short motorbike ride gets you into Ubud town. It’s a small boutique spot with a nice pool that we enjoyed on our own. The food at the restaurant was decent, though not outstanding.

The beauty of the place, the smiling staff, the rice fields all around, and the small hotel restaurant were all wonderful. The only issue was the recurring noise from scooters in Bali.

The staff were very friendly, the garden and pool were beautiful, and breakfast was a dream. They even provided mosquito spray and a plug for the mosquito repellent. The location is great for excursions, being outside the city. Our son’s birthday was celebrated with a decorated cake and a flower‑laden card—thank you for that. The place is very loud and echo‑prone, with no direct shopping or stores nearby.

The team was fantastic, the rooms were really pretty and the pool was great, and the food was excellent. It’s a little far from the centre—about 25 minutes—but the price is very reasonable.
