Located in the charming fishing village of Clovelly, the Red Lion Hotel boasts rooms with striking sea or harbour views, free private parking, and complimentary WiFi. Guests enjoy free entrance to Clovelly Village and Gardens, plus use of the landrover service. The hotel features a restaurant serving fresh, locally caught fish and seasonal produce from nearby Clovelly Estate Gardens.

The location is beautiful, can’t ask for much more. Food was great. Great walks across to amazing coastal views. Would love to go again. We chose to come to a village with no cars and ‘back in time’ for a peaceful and calm break from noisy city life. However every evening we were there a PA system with live music was playing until late evening. The hotel rooms are above a bar, just FYI. Parking is available but the road is about as steep as they can be. 25% fine for modern vehicles.

The staff were exceptionally caring about my husband’s food intolerances and helped work thru the menus especially for him. Nothing!

The location. The bed was comfy so was the pillows. The patrons were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
