“It was good overall.”
Breakfast was good on both days, and the bed was comfy. Loide went the extra mile by waiting for us to check in late at night and waking up early to ensure breakfast was ready before 9 the next morning. They stocked my favorite coffee brand, something I haven’t seen elsewhere. The room lacks air conditioning or a heater. The extra bed and the cupboard in the bathroom are problematic; when steam builds up in the shower, the clothes in the cupboard and the bedding get wet. The shower is small and the shower head holes are blocked.

The staff were lovely and even gave us a coffee from her own supply! The room was nice and comfortable, and Netflix and the internet worked well. The bathroom had no door and the shower was a little dated, but overall it was great value for money.

The balcony in the brown room is a nice feature. The self‑catering option was not really available.

Loide was absolutely wonderful. The room was otherwise clean and neat. The shower door was broken and the water pressure was terrible. It was odd that there was no wall socket near the table where the kettle was placed.
