The elevators worked fine and the breakfast was good, but the soap and body wash had a horrible smell!

The omelette station was unbeatable—definitely the best breakfast we had during our month of traveling across the USA. I’d have liked the hot water and tea area to stay open 24 hours; other hotels always offered free tea and coffee around the clock.

The location is great if you’re driving, and the rooms stay clean. Happy Hour and breakfast are actually decent, and the staff make transactions easy. However, they charged us for a handicap parking spot, which is illegal in Oregon, and threatened to tow a wheelchair van with a valid Oregon WHEELCHAIR USER placard if we didn’t pay.

I was told I had to pay an $80 deposit after checkout and that I’d get it back, but I never heard why it was held; my trip was for medical reasons and I didn’t expect a long hold on the deposit. The first room was flooded with water, the second had a filthy bathtub, and when I asked for twin beds I was told the reservation was for a king‑size bed only.

Breakfast could have stayed open a bit longer. The staff were rude to people waiting in line for a drink at 10, and when someone was waiting for another guest to finish, the worker still acted rudely. That poor customer service pulled down an otherwise good experience.
