“A smile.wouldnt hurt”

The beds were very comfy and the pool area was nice. Better morning hours would be great. The Staff weren't very friendly. Traveling with small children its difficult to keep them perfectly quiet. We were on the second floor and had complaints that they were too loud. I would understand if it were in the middle of the night but it was 7pm. I wasnt able to enjoy the stay after that for fear we would be warned again. I dont think 1 staff member ever smiled. The breakfast was acceptable. And just to be sure we weren't a nuisance I cleaned up after the kids ate. All in all it was a comfortable room but I just was never really able to relax

“Nice staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was nice to have, too.”

The seating area was great, with plenty of space and a nice counter for breakfast. The breakfast itself was fine—adequate but not great. The waffle maker was popular; maybe add another one? Boiled eggs were okay, but scrambled eggs were much better. When we lost a set of truck keys after driving to Indpls., Robert went above and beyond, thoroughly checking our room and the breakfast area, though we later found my husband had picked them up. Thanks, Robert, for trying to help us!

When checking in, the gentleman was super friendly. However, the shower floor was very squeaky—annoying—and the sink was in the room instead of the bathroom. There was no game show network.

“Well my wife wouldn't even take a shower it was that dirty.”

The room was very outdated and dirty, with large carpet stains, old furniture, scratched and chipped tables and dressers. It was one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at; the staff were fine, but the room was terrible. If we hadn’t been tired we’d have asked for a refund and left. The location was fine, but the room’s condition didn’t justify the price.
