The staff were bad.

The spot is solid—just a stone’s throw from the main metro and tram stops and surrounded by plenty of shops. But honestly, the room was a nightmare: the floor was filthy, the sheets and towels had stains, and we even spotted tiny bugs at night—total disaster. Everything else felt old and in poor shape: the handles, door knobs, and a broken light switch that didn’t work; the TV and air‑conditioning were non‑functional, with exposed wires everywhere. I get that it’s a budget place, yet these fixes cost almost nothing. Breakfast was a letdown too—almost empty bowls and the same bland spread every day.

The location is convenient, with exchange offices, cafés, shops, and both surface and underground transport nearby, and the main sights are a 10‑minute walk away. The room cleaning is just enough to tick a box.

They cancelled my reservation right before I was supposed to arrive, with no explanation.

The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive to our questions, but there were no sheets—just a blanket—, housekeeping didn’t clean often (dust and an egg shell under the bed), and breakfast lacked fruit, pastries, and fruit juice.
