Breakfast was good and everything I liked was available. A single coffee machine is too little for a four‑star hotel; you have to queue, which is annoying. Other hotels offer a pot or bring coffee to you. Parking by car costs 10 Euro per day, which I find impossible. The single rooms in the annex are only accessible by stairs, which can be exhausting for some people at the given prices.

The location is gorgeous, and the large winter garden offered a fantastic view of the lake. The staff were very friendly, and our booked room (without lake view) was lovely, though the TV could have been bigger and a picture on the wall would have added charm. The beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast had everything you could wish for, but the sausage and cheese selection felt cheap—definitely not from a butcher—and that was a bit disappointing. The bread and croissants, however, were tasty and fresh.
