The building was clean and convenient, but it felt like a glorified Airbnb with no real hospitality or human connection—no shared common spaces, no human contact, and the “mariner” seaside theme seemed contrived and out of place.

The place felt very clean and I loved the heated bathroom floor, but the roof gutter over the front door should be cleaned out to stop drips when entering during rain.

The location was good, but it was very loud with no soundproofing, and the receptionist was quite unfriendly and not very welcoming.

Hudson is a really nice place to visit, the property is very stylish and in a great location. The balcony/porch is a lovely place to sit and spot fireflies. It was very hot when we visited and while the air conditioning was hugely welcome, we had no control over it within our apartment. At night it was freezing, and as a light sleeper, I found it very difficult to get to sleep due to the noise of the air blowing in through the vents. This was the only issue and we really enjoyed our stay here.

The room was a good size, well appointed, with nice amenities and really comfortable beds. Staff was kind and accommodating. Easy to walk to from the train station. Unfortunately, we could hear everything from the room directly above ours. It was not the fault of the property that the guests above us had children that were running around and singing late into the night and then early again in the morning. It was bothersome and a bit disruptive.
