Ramada by Wyndham Yogyakarta

The bed was incredibly cozy and I slept soundly; the garden and pool were nice, though I never used them. The location was perfect for visiting Borobudur and getting around Yogyakarta was straightforward. The staff were friendly. We skipped breakfast because it seemed a bit pricey. The pillow was huge, a bit too large for my taste. The only real letdown was the shower area: while the shower itself worked well, the surrounding bathroom was a little grimy, with mold in spots and an overall unpleasant feel.

“Good experience 😊”

The overall experience was good, with beautiful green surroundings and a skatepark that includes a bowl and a pump track, a swimming pool, and a basketball field. Breakfast was amazing, offering both western and Indonesian options, and the service was excellent. The bird park right next door was a missed opportunity, but next time we’ll definitely visit. The only downside was a bad smell coming from the ground‑level lift exit and the café entrance, something the management should address soon. For the price we paid, it was a wonderful stay.

“great stay !”

The room was really spacious, which I loved, but there were some water spots on the ceiling that caught my eye. Not ideal, but the extra space made up for it a bit.

This place was clean and the staff were super helpful, which was great. Only downside is that it's a bit of a trek to get to the center of town.

I was surprised to find a smoking smell in my room, even though it's marked as a no-smoking area. The staff tried to help by spraying something, but the smell lingered. Maybe they should work on improving the air circulation - it would make a big difference.
